Every day I'm learning more..
Whether it's how to say "slippery" in Spanish, how to make a traditional Peruvian dish, or how to not be afraid if my grammar is horrendous, I'm learning a TON.
This week has been busy, and it's just gonna get busier. We took a four hour tour ride around all of Arequipa yesterday, which cost us about $11. It was cloudy all day, but we still got sunburned.
We taught our first workshop today. Honestly, it was one of the hardest things I've ever done, getting up in front of adults, teaching business principles in Spanish. I completely messed up. I'm lucky I'm in a culture where people are so forgiving and love the fact that you try to speak their language, even if you completely mess up on the organization of things, and trying to communicate. I'm learning lessons in preparation!!!!
It rained literally all day. There's something so soothing about the sound of rain :).
